Fortcraft is a game by NetEase Games and they had just announced their yet another new free-to-play battle royale mobile game. NetEase Games has released a lot of battle royale mobile games like Rules of Survival, Knives Out, Island Strikers and many more. Now adding up their latest installment Fortcraft which is inspired by Fortnite, they have also released Beta testing for both iOS and Android devices.
The game allows players to craft and build structures just like Fortnite. Of course it’s no surprise as well that players will also require to scavenge resources by destroying structures in the game. While the game is pretty much an exact copy of Fortnite, the only difference we find are the weapons of choice. There’s a Flamethrower in Fortcraft which is pretty neat and you don’t find that in Fortnite. With the addition of voice chat later in future updates, it will allow for a better teamwork when playing with squads.
Though Fortnite is also releasing a mobile version soon, Epic Games, the developer has not released a beta version yet. With the release of beta testing for Fortcraft, it seems to be an undercut move by NetEase to release their game earlier and faster than Epic Games for the mobile. Currently the beta test is region locked to only in the USA and Canada.
