Square Enix has just released a new trailer for Forspoken, this time detailing on the world of Athia itself.
From the trailer, we are given a deep dive of what is in store for Frey as she travels across the world of Athia from formidable challenges to a chill mini-game for her to relax and enjoy.
- Detours – Sidequests that are given by the locals of Athia who are in desperate need of help
- Monuments – Sacred Stones where the Tantas once stored their powers which Fray can use to grow stronger
- Flashbacks – Challenges that can be taken from Monuments that offers Fray rewards upon completion
- Founts of Blessing – Spots where Frey can awaken her dormant magical abilities and learn new spells
- Ancient Books – Offers spellcrafts challenges that Frey can take on to upgrade her magic
- Trading – Fray can collect old coins throughout her adventure in Athia and exchange them at trading spots for valuable items
- Locked Labyrinth – Dangerous dungeons hiding underneath the surface of Athia that holds powerful equipment for Fray
- Partha – A mini-game that Frey can take on at the Shady Tree using dice-like objects made from animal bones to earn temporary battle boosts.
- Photo Spots – Frey can take pictures from these spots to show to children of Athia and will unlock more features to the mode as more photos are taken
- Tantas Familiars – Feline creatures hanging around special Monuments that can Fray can make friends with
- Combat Challenges – Severely Mutated Beasts that offers Frey the chance to test her skills
Forpsoken is an action RPG game developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix set to release on January 24th, 2023 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
