Poland-based publishing company Forever Entertainment will be releasing several remakes of an unspecified Square Enix IP.
According to a report from Polish news site Biznes, Forever Entertainment will be taking more than 50% of the revenue made from the remakes across all platforms. Thanks to this deal with Square Enix, Forever Entertainment’s share price increased more than 10%.
Currently, we can only speculate the Square Enix IP being worked on by Forever Entertainment. The report further also stated:
“The name of this IP will be made public in a separate report once the global marketing campaign begins. Remakes of all games will feature new visuals, but the gameplay and scenario will remain the same as the original version. Exact release dates for all games will be communicated in separate ongoing reports.”
As a giant in the world of console games, Square Enix has a huge library of games underneath its belt. Regardless, it is rather unlikely that the remake will be a Final Fantasy title.
Established back in 2010, Forever Entertainment is no stranger to video game remakes. Last year, the company published a remake of Panzer Dragoon on Steam and Switch. Panzer Dragoon is a rail shooter from SEGA which released back in the 1990s.
