For All Time has begun its closed beta test in Korea, having made its way outside of China. Developed by Netease Games, For All Time is a mobile otome game, namely, that female-oriented romance genre. Much like miHoYo’s Tears of Themis, it’s got more interactivity than being “just” a visual novel, and has gacha elements. The official Chinese website can be found here, while the Korean one is here, along with its official Twitter here. Below is the Korean teaser trailer, featuring Korean voices.
The game could be considered leaning closer to a traditional otome game, with “endings” you can obtain. These endings do not depend on your chosen lad’s affection level, taking into consideration other factors instead. While Emerald is also featured in artwork, it does not appear he has a route of his own. As such, as hilarious as it is, it’s likely why the pretty, white long-haired boy is in the background. That doesn’t stop him from having his own cards in the gacha, though.
The “battles” will see you field five of your own cards with a sixth filled in by a friend, with three in the frontline replaced by a sub-member in the same position.
The For All Time closed beta test will be ending 3 September, 22:00 KST. You’re probably more likely to get updates about the game through their naver board.
