Foamstars An Online Multiplayer Shooter Featuring Foam-To-Foam Combat Announced

Foamstars a four-on-four online multiplayer shooter was recently announced and will be made available for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

The announcement trailer showcased a variety of colorful characters engaging in foam-to-foam combat which also comes in a variety of colors. The battle also took place in an abandoned city block which could be reasonably assumed to be one of the stages available in the game later on.

The game has foam being the ultimate resource which could be utilized in multiple ways that was also highlighted in the trailer. Players could surf around the arena using the foam which is perfect for getting in and out of situations, the foam could also be used in building terrain that could be used to defend from incoming attacks or create dynamic flanking routes to attack opponents.

Not only that, Foamstars will also support the following languages which include, Japanese, English. Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Latin American Spanish.

Aside from that, not much details has been shared in regards to the game at time of writing, with the teaser website only containing a sign-up button for their Newsletter. However, the development team has stated that more information is coming in the near future.
