FIST Forged In Shadow Torch Release Date Announced

Ti Games has announced the release date for FIST Forged In Shadow Torch, the company’s metroidvania releasing on PS4, PS5 and PC.

FIST Forged in Shadow Torch will release on September 7th, and is available for preorder now with special rewards for players who do so.

They also showed off more of the gameplay for the game, as you play as a rabbit with a robot exosuit that lets you pull off stylish combos.

Speaking of, it looks like the game will have a pretty robust combo system, as the trailer shows off its air combos, letting you launch enemies already in the air to keep them up there longer.

You also have a horizontal dash, similar to the one you’d see in Metroidvanias like Blasphemous. Since upgrades are a core part of that genre’s playstyle, it’s not known just how wild FIST will get with its upgrades, or even how much of what we saw was stuff you’ll be able to do out of the box.

The game also shows off what appears to be several of its epic bossfights, including a massive serpent firing off projectiles that you’ll have to dodge bullet-hell style and what appears to be more characters using mechanical exo suits similar to the main character.
