It was revealed in the February Nintendo Direct that Fire Emblem Warriors will be getting a sequel in the form of Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. The game will be released on June 24th.
Check out the announcement trailer:
Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes brings the characters of Fire Emblem Three Houses to the hack n slash style spin-off with the heroes of the game, Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude alongside at least one brand new character tearing through armies across the land of Foodland.
The game promises an all-original story for the cast of Three Houses.
The first Fire Emblem Warriors was released in 2017 and was a crossover between Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Fire Emblem Fates. This does beg the question if we’ll see more characters from previous games before Three Houses in Three Hopes especially as they’ve already made the models for popular characters like Chrom and Lucina.
The biggest criticism of the first Fire Emblem Warriors was that it only contained characters from mainly three games in the series with fan favorites like Ike and Roy being left out. The developers even said that they would like to include some other characters from across the series in a sequel. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see.
Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes will release for the Nintendo Switch on June 24th.
