The pair also gave a short interview to Famitsu, with the highlight being how quickly smartphone game players are quicker to provide response, while feedback from console gamers take a while more. New players were also advised to begin from Book 2 in order to get a strong character right off the bat and thus make the game more enjoyable in the short run.
To be honest, we were surprised Fire Emblem Heroes took the award, as we were so sure Fate/Grand Order would take it. Either way, congratulations to Nintendo and the development team to have made the transition to smartphones a smooth one.
