Fire Emblem Heroes Book V, the next chapter in the mobile Fire Emblem game’s main story, has just gotten a new trailer.
The trailer features a lot of what fans can expect in the game’s story, which updates this week. While Fire Emblem has always been typically sword-and-sorcery in its approach, Book V sees the successful fusion of science and magic, leading to steampunk mech suits more akin to series like Sakura Wars.
These mechs are called Gullinbursti, and are a huge departure from the game’s usual more classical fantasy setting. They’re developed by the nation of Nioavellir, the aforementioned kingdom which successfully combined Magic and Science.
Once the update is live, all players will be able to jump into the new content. They’ll have to start at Book V Chapter 1, though doing so will award them the Mythic Hero Reginn.
Players can also complete the “Book V Begins” stories to acquire free orbs as well as Aether Stones. These stories are available starting today for players eager to get their hands on the free rewards.
Finally, Reginn and a host of characters from Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones will all be part of a special limited banner to celebrate Fire Emblem Heroes Book V, running from now to 24th December.
