Final Fantasy XV x Final Fantasy XIV Crossover Collaboration In December 12th!

Though with recent news on the departure of Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV, from Square Enix and Luminous Productions, there’s still some light at least in Final Fantasy XV. As some of the DLCs are canceled leaving Ardyn’s episode that’s still in development, we are also getting a collaboration quest this coming December 12th. The collaboration will bring Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy XIV to come together with a new side quest called “Adventurer from Another World”.

The quest can be accepted in the Cauthless Rest Area of the Duscae Region. However, players will need to clear the main quest “Beginning of The Hexatheon’s Blessings” or “Touch the First Runestone” before unlocking the collaboration quest. In the new quest, players will be met with a mysterious young Miqo’te girl named Y’jhimei that came from FF XIV. As players take on her request, there’ll be a new boss to take on as well – this time it’s the primal Garuda.

Once the quest is completed, players will be able to unlock exquisite costumes:

• Noctis: “Glamour Prism: Miqo’te”
• Ignis: “Glamour Prism: Elezen”
• Gladiolus: “Glamour Prism: Roegadyn”
• Prompto: “Glamour Prism: Hyur”
