Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode Yuffie reveals voice cast and new details

The Yuffie DLC that is included with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is officially titled Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Episode INTERmission.

Taking place after the bombing of Mako Reactor 5, the DLC features playable character Yuffie and her ally Sonon on a mission to steal Materia. Episode INTERmission comprises of 2 chapters. Besides fighting enemies in a tag team format with Sonon, players will need to make use of Yuffie’s agility as a ninja by wall-running and other acrobatic moves to progress in the DLC. 

Besides Yuffie and Sonon, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Episode INTERmission also introduces other new characters to the world of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Players can also encounter Weiss, the antagonist from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. In addition, some of the new NPCs include Zhijie, Nayo, Billy Bob, and Polk. Check out how they look:

Square Enix also revealed the voice cast for the characters in this DLC. They are:

• Yuffie Kisaragi, voiced by Suzie Yeung (English), Yumi Kakazu (Japanese)
• Sonon Kusakabe, voiced by Aleks Le (English), Yoshimasa Hosoya (Japanese)
• Weiss, voiced by Daman Mills (English), Jouji Nakata (Japanese)
• Zhijie, voiced by Griffin Puatu (English), Akira Igarashi (Japanese)
• Nayo, voiced by Ashley Boettcher (English), Akane Fujita (Japanese)
• Billy Bob, voiced by David Goldstein (English), Kenichi Hoshino (Japanese)
• Polk, voiced by Daniel Amerman (English), Nobuyori Sagara (Japanese)

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will launch on 10th June 2021. Note that Episode INTERmission will be a separate purchase for those who choose to get the free PS5 upgrade.
