Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo announced that Final Fantasy T-shirts are coming to its UT collection with special graphics by famed artist Yoshitaka Amano.
For this collaboration, Uniqlo will be releasing special T-shirts with artwork based on Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XVI, and the first six games of the series.
The Uniqlo Final Fantasy T-shirts will feature artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, the visual artist who has been creating iconic illustrations for the franchise since 1987.
Apart from beautiful illustrations, some of the T-shirts will also feature pixel art based on the various characters and monsters from the series.
There will be 7 different Final Fantasy designs to choose from, according to the official Japanese Uniqlo store page.
As of writing, the announcement is only made for Uniqlo stores in Japan and is scheduled for sale in late June with no exact start date revealed yet.
However, if it’s like any collaboration UT collections, the T-shirts will eventually be rolled out to Uniqlo stores in other countries at a later date.
Final Fantasy aside, Uniqlo has also launched special The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom T-shirts in several countries, and the collection will soon be released in Malaysia.
Previously, Uniqlo has also launched a collection celebrating the 40th anniversary of Capcom, the game publisher and developer behind some of the most iconic franchises, such as Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, and Resident Evil, just to name a few.
