During Square Enix’s Tokyo Game Show 2021 showcase, the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin trailer revealed the game’s release date. Furthermore, a second demo for the game is also available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
The release date for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set to 18 March, 2021. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Epic Games Store. Check out the new trailer for the game below:
To the disappointment and relief of some viewers, protagonist Jack did not utter even a single mention of “Chaos”. The trailer introduced players to Neon, the fourth Warrior of Light, and also new enemies and bosses. At the end of the trailer, it was also hinted that Jack is related to Garland.
As for the game’s second trial, it will include the first trial from June earlier this year and also introduce a new playable area and multiplayer for up to 3 players.
Here are the details for the demo:
- Trial Period: October 1, 11:00 am – October 11, 02:59 pm (UTC)
- Survey Period: October 1, 11:00 am – October 18, 02:59 pm (UTC)
Just like last time, progress made during the demo cannot be carried over into the full game.
