Square Enix has revealed a Logo for the 35th Anniversary of their flagship JRPG series Final Fantasy, just after their live presentation at the Tokyo Game Show. The anniversary will take place next year in 2022
The logo features The Warrior of Light, the protagonist of the first Final Fantasy game released in 1987 for the NES. He was also featured on the front cover of the original Japanese release.
The illustration was done by Yoshitaka Amano who has done the art for every Final Fantasy logo. He was also the main illustrator for Final Fantasy I-VI and still makes key art for the series to this day.
There are currently no events or products being made specifically for the Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary however Square Enix has stated that the logo and anniversary will occur in 2022 so more will likely be announced then.
