Alphamon will be joining Bandai’s Figure-rise Standard Amplified lineup as part of Hobby Next Phase 2022 Spring online exhibition. Check it out below:
Once the model kit is fully assembled, the figure stands at approximately 195 mm tall. The figure is capable of making dynamic poses mainly thanks to the wide range of articulation around the joints.
This freedom of movement also applies to the wings/cape. The thin-sheet like material of the wings/cape is actually PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sheets, the same material used in plastic water bottles. It’s both durable and flexible.
The circular sheet seen above used for Alphamon’s Digitalize of Soul attack is also made of PET. There are also multiple options for hands. In addition, the model kit also comes with Holy Sword Gradalpha. Note that the model kit does not include Ouryuken, the massive weapon wielded by Alphamon’s other form, Alphamon Ouryuken.
Like many of the other Figure-rise Standard Amplified models, Alphamon also has holes throughout its various parts which is meant for attaching and customising with parts from other kits.
Figure-rise Standard Amplified Alphamon will release in September 2022. Its retail price is 4,950 yen. For more details, visit the figure’s product page over on Bandai Spirits.
Digimon fans can also check out the Shodo Alphamon Ouryuken figure. We also previously unboxed Figure-rise Standard Amplified Omegamon X, which you can read about here.
