FFXIV Starter Edition free on PS4! [ Final Fantasy XIV ]

If you’ve been always curious about the world of Eorzea, FFXIV / Final Fantasy XIV – that’s 14 to you – has its starter edition currently available for free on the Playstation 4! The offer will be available until 26 May via the Playstation Store. The game is normally priced at $19.99 / 2420 yen.

The game still requires a subscription fee, but the FFXIV Starter Edition does come with a free 30 day trial. Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition contains Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, but does not include the other expansions which are Heavensward, Stormblood and the latest Shadowbringers. The deal officially begins on 22 May, so certain regions may not have it yet depending on their timezones.

Malaysians are likely to have to change regions in order to play the game. Don’t let that stop you from trying it out though. The starter edition would be able to give you access to more of the game instead of the currently available free trial which has quite a number of limitations, including capping your level to 10 and not being able to create an Au’ra, and so will be a more comprehensive experience before you decide to commit.
