The upcoming Fate/Grand Order 2nd Camelot Movie release date has been announced, via the movie’s official social media. They’ve also announced promotional merchandise alongside the release date announcement.
The latest addition to the series, Paladin; Atageram releases May 8th, 2021. It’s the follow up to the first movie, Wandering; Atageram and pre-sales for the tickets start February 13th in Japan. Those who pre-purchase the tickets can also get a free acrylic strap of Bedivere.
Fate/Grand Order The Movie: Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot is a series of movies adapting the Camelot arc of the popular mobile game. The plot features various characters from across the Fate mythology from Arthurian lore, including an alternate-timeline take on series mainstay Artoria Pendragon. The first movie, Wandering: Atageram was released December 5th of last year.
Although the Fate/Grand Order 2nd Camelot movie release date is so soon, there’s always room for doubt. The first film Wandering; Atageram was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, missing its original summer date. Likewise, fans buying tickets should take into consideration the likelihood of it happening again.
As per Grand Order tradition, the characters featured aren’t limited to the Arthurian themed Servants, as it also features characters like Ozymandias, as well as the second appearance of Hassan of the Mountains.
The Camelot series is the second big adaptation of Fate/Grand Order’s story, with the first being the OVA series Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. While the Camelot series are treated as movies with theatrical releases, Babylonia was episodic in nature. At the time of writing, fans can watch Babylonia on Netflix.
