SNK has unveiled the 2025 release window for their new upcoming title in the Fatal Fury series, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, as well as revealing its first gameplay and characters.
First revealed during EVO 2023, the official trailer and the release window for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves were finally revealed after the SNK World Championships 2023 (SWC) concluded.
In the trailer, we can see the Rock Howard and Terry Bogard fighting it out while showcasing some of the new mechanics of the game.
According to the trailer, a new mechanic shown as REV has been added to the game, showcased with the new REV Block, REV Blow, REV Arts, and REV Accel.
Furthermore, a character trailer was also announced for the game, confirming the addition of three more characters, with Hotaru and Tizoc as returning characters, and Preecha as a new addition to the series.
For those unfamiliar with Tizoc, the griffin-headed wrestler also dons a heel persona known as King of Dinosaurs.

Producer Josh Weatherford and Chief Producer Yasuyuki Oda also revealed that SNK plans to have a playable version of the game at EVO Japan 2024, where visitors can have a hands-on experience with the game during the event.
As mentioned, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is slated to release in early 2025, though no exact date nor the platforms have yet to be announced.
