Notorious for pushing its game back, Japan-based game developer Level-5 has just announced that it has delayed Fantasy Life Online from its previously scheduled 2017 release window in Japan to sometime spring 2018. Bear in mind that this is the second announced delay.
The reason behind the delay is cited as something necessary in order to “increase the quality of the game overall and improve systems, UI, and other elements”, according to the developer. Fantasy Life Online will be available for Android and iOS devices, when it does actually get released. Given that this is Level-5, we do expect good things to come out as a result of the delay. While it is by no means the most punctual developer, the quality of its products have always been up there.
