With the recent release of The Walking Dead : Destinies on consoles and its upcoming release to PC on 2nd December 2023, fans weren’t particularly happy with the overall quality of the game so far.
The Walking Dead: Destinies is a choice-driven third-person action adventure game that lets players step into the shoes of Rick Grimes, as they relive iconic moments from the first four seasons of The Walking Dead TV series.
While that may sound promising for fans of the acclaimed TV series to relive and potentially rewrite the events and bring in a new swing to the narrative, the game had left a bad taste for players with various bugs, glitches, and overall poor production quality.
Many players had voiced their displeasure across social media, twitter user GmanLives shared gameplay clips of the game, saying that “I refuse to believe The Walking Dead: Destinies is an actual game. I’m convinced it’s an elaborate prank by the developers to see if anyone actually takes it seriously.”

Youtuber MKIceAndFire had also released a 7 hour and 40 minute gameplay walkthrough video, where viewers can check out the full gameplay of The Walking Dead: Destinies.
Viewers had pointed out the many flaws of the game, ranging from lackluster cutscenes with static shots of the 3D character models; characters like Andrea, Amy, and Ed being absent in the game, on top of a game breaking bug on PlayStation 5 as mentioned by Youtuber MKIceAndFire in the pinned comment of the gameplay video.
It’s worth noting that The Walking Dead: Destinies shares the same publishers as GameMill Entertainment, who recently released Skull Island: Rise of Kong, which many players dubbed to be “The Worst Game of 2023”.
