We’ve gotten our first proper look at the upcoming Fallout TV series coming to Amazon Prime Video via a new trailer, and it’s dripping in the usual flavor that’s come to define the post-apocalyptic RPG.
The series debuts on Amazon Prime Video on April 12th, with the series confirmed to be available on the Malaysian counterpart of the streaming service.
The Fallout TV series trailer starts off with our new protagonist, Lucy, leaving the confines of Vault 33 to experience the destroyed state of Los Angeles– just 200 years after the fall of the United States.
From there it’s your common Fallout fare- we get to see monsters like Radroaches which are exactly what they sound like, as well as a monstrous irradiated bear and a trusty dog sidekick.
We also get to see more of The Ghoul- an irradiated bounty hunter making ends meet in the wasteland with his guns.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Fallout reveal without getting a better look at The Brotherhood of Steel in their iconic power armor- as well as seeing those same Paladins later get eaten by aforementioned massive, irradiated bear.
The Fallout universe is a prime setting for a TV series- given the size of the US it’s capable of holding many stories and having them happen near-simultaneously, as long as no story’s scale gets too out of control.
