Amazon Prime Video has announced that the Fallout TV Series has accumulated 65 million viewers globally across its first 16 days.
The TV adaptation of the popular game franchise was also revealed to be a hit among adults aged 18 to 34 during this time period, making it the most popular title throughout Amazon Prime Video’s history.
According to official data released by the company, Fallout is the 2nd most-watched title ever on Prime Video and the most-watched title since The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power which aired in September 2022.
Additionally, Fallout is the #1 title globally on Prime Video during its first 16 days and has reached #1 in 170 countries. 60% of Fallout’s audience is based internationally, with significant number of views from audiences in UK, France, and Brazil.
As a result of the TV show’s popularity, fans have started looking to the original games to immerse themselves even more in post-nuclear apocalypse America, with online game Fallout 76 achieving an all-time high of concurrent player counts for the game on Steam. Other games in the franchise have also receive a surge in popularity, and Amazon Prime offers free copies of Fallout 3 for Prime subscribers who have watched the show.
A second season for the Fallout TV series was also confirmed 2 months ago, adding more fuel to the Fallout hype train in anticipation.
