Kodansha has established the Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild project and unveiled 2 games which will come to PC via Steam. The project was launched in conjunction with series creator Hiro Mashima for independent game developers interested in making a Fairy Tail game.
Fairy Tail: Dungeons, is a single-player deck-building roguelike set to release on August 27, 2024. Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, is a battle game featuring 32 playable characters, slated for release on September 17, 2024. Check out the teaser trailer below.
Fairy Tail: Dungeons
Players can control Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, or Wendy, each possessing unique abilities. Collect cards and build a deck to gain skills, defeat monsters, and delve deeper into the perilous dungeon.
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc
You can play Beach Volleyball Havoc solo or with up to four players, enjoying a fun head-to-head volleyball experience with a magical twist. Additionally, you can enhance your attacks with up to 100 different types of magic, ensuring each match is unique. It also has Remote Play Together so team up with your friends for some split screen fun!
For now, both games don’t have prices but you can add them to your wishlist to get notified once they release. Fairy Tail: Dungeons and Beach Volleyball Havoc will be getting released ahead of Fairy Tail 2 which has a planned release in Winter 2024.
