Fairy Tail DiceMagic now available in Japan

Japan-based developer Fuji Games has just announced the launch of its new game in the form of Fairy Tail DiceMagic for the Android and iOS platforms in Japan, having previously opened pre-registration quite a while ago.

This turn-based RPG incorporate board games elements, and as hinted by the title, dice-rolling mechanics are integral to its gameplay. At the exploration phase, the game is based on a moving board that is akin to that of Monopoly.

The number of steps that your avatar can take is determined by the roll of your dice. Regardless, if you are being blocked by an enemy, you will have to defeat it in order to move forward.

In the combat phase, you will also need to roll the device in order to decide which character can take their turn and perform an action. Depending on how the dice lands, you will have a preset attack which will activate. Sprites are rendered accurately to represent characters which they’re based on, so fans will find much to like her. For everyone else, the slightly dated looking graphics might turn you off.
