Fulfill your dreams of being an F1 superstar with the F1 Mobile Racing tournament. Anyone can qualify for the tournament as long as they have the game.
The tournament will have four monthly qualifiers, ahead of the game’s finals in December. These qualifiers will have players completing various in-game challenges for points. At the end of the month, the top performing players will move on to the finals.
If you missed your shot this month, don’t worry- qualifiers reset every month, leading up to December. That means three chances to get to the top of the ladder and make it to finals.
Meanwhile, Finals will be held over three days in December. The finals will compete in various challenges over three days, with the winner being crowned F1 Mobile Racing Esports Champion.
Accessible And Rewarding
Not interested in glory? The participating in this event will also grant you various in-game rewards, so there’s plenty of reason to take part even if you’re not confident in qualifying.
Unlike many Esports tournaments, Codemasters have said there won’t be a physical venue for the finals. Instead, players can just participate from the comfort of their homes.
“This is part of F1’s strategy to continue making the sport more accessible to our fans through gaming and esports, especially with F1 Mobile Racing developed by Codemasters being completely free to download and with participation being free and open to all,” says Julian Tan, Head of Digital Business Initiatives and Esports at Formula 1. “We are excited to kick off our search for our inaugural F1 Mobile Racing Esports Champion 2020!”
Currently, there is no confirmed date for finals.
