It was confirmed at the Capcom Spotlight Livestream that Exoprimal will launch on the 14th of July 2023. There will also be an open beta test for Exoprimal that will go live from the 17th to the 19th of March a week from the airing of this announcement.

The Exoprimal open beta test will allow for cross-platform matchmaking where players can squad up with friends on the same platform eco-system to compete against users on other platforms. The platform combinations where you can team up with friends consist of:
- PS4 and PS5
- Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows Store
- Steam
The trailer goes into more detail about the game’s plot which sees Dinosaurs transported to the year 2040 and begins to wreak havoc across the globe. It is up to the player and a band of exofighters to take the fight to the beasts using humanity’s best exosuit technology to give them a fighting chance.
The exosuits come in three types: Assault (DPS), Tank (defense), and Support (healing and buffs). All three will be important when taking on the hoards of prehistoric monsters.
Capcom has also announced a digital deluxe version of the game that will come with the following items:
- The Head Start Kit
- Vigilant Early Unlock Ticket
- Murasame Early Unlock Ticket
- Nimbus Early Unlock Ticket
- Paladin exosuit skin for Vigilant
- White Guardian exosuit skin for Murasame
- Wonderland exosuit skin for Nimbus
The game will also feature a battle pass called The Survival Pass Season 1: Premium Tier.
Exoprimal will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on the 14th of July 2023.
The game will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass.
