EVO has announced the games lineup for EVO 2022, with multiple popular titles joining the prestigious fighting game tournament as it returns to its in-person venue at Mandalay Bay.
The tournament will run from August 5th to 7th at Las Vegas, Nevada in the US and you can register now via the website.
Naturally, EVO 2022 will feature the big mainstay games Street Fighter V, Tekken 7 as well as Mortal Kombat 11 Ulimate.
It should be noted that as previously announced, the Smash series will not be making an appearance at EVO this year, the first year it’s been absent even though EVO is an offline tournament.
Here is the full list of games making an appearance at EVO 2022:
- Street Fighter V: Champion Edition
- Tekken 7
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
- Guilty Gear Strive
- KOF XV
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Granblue Fantasy: Versus
- Skullgirls
The lineup has a good list of new blood as well as more niche picks for EVO’s return to Mandalay Bay- community darlings like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Skullgirls are both present, while also celebrating new titles such as Melty Blood: Type Lumina and KOF XV.
The schedule hasn’t been released yet- the organizers say it will be adjusted based on the signups for the tournaments, with the most popular event having its finals on Sunday while the least popular gets it on Friday.
For those whose games didn’t get the main stage treatment, the tournament will also feature a community space allowing you to hold your own community events at the venue.
