Following its closed beta testing, Eternal Tree has announced its release date for Japan, and presumably for Korea as well. In Japan at least, the release date for Eternal Tree is set for 23 June 2022.
Pre-registrations are still being accepted for the game as there are milestone rewards available up to 500,000 users, with the game presently having at least 200,000. You’ll be able to get a slew of upgrade materials / equipment, premium currency, and SSR items including the character, “Charlotta” / “Charlotte”.
From the websites, players will have the option of a male or female protagonist, with the featured (presumably playable) cast having both male and female characters. Unsurprisingly, it skews towards the girls more, but you have options. This world appears to use various deities / gods as inspiration, at least for their “Imaginary Objects”. Check out the Japanese website here, or the Korean one here. Going by the websites, both servers will have characters dubbed in their respective languages, though whether either will be able to swap dubs is not known.
The game has the typical “strategic battles” and hero collection you expect from this genre. Originally released in China, it’s now making its way outside of the country. Whether or not it will get an English localization someday, is as always, up to publishers to decide.
