The Epic Games store has begun displaying prices in store in local currency. At time of writing, the FAQ states:
The Epic Games Store currently accepts 29 currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, PLN, BRL, UAH, RUB, KRW, JPY, TRY, AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK, CZK, ILS, CHF, MXN, PEN, HUF, CLP, SAR, AED, RON, NZD, ZAR, INR, COP). We’re working to bring more currencies online.
If your currency is not on the list, you’ll see the prices displayed in US Dollars, but will still pay in your local currency according to the current exchange rates. In some countries paying in US Dollars may incur additional bank conversion fees. We are working on expanding the list of supported currencies.
For the editor in Malaysia, which the FAQ still lists as displaying in USD, but has since been updated to MYR as you can see below:
The local currency display should prove to make things more convenient for users of the Epic Games Store in general, without needing to think of exchange rates and the possible conversion fees. Besides any Epic Games exclusives, the store front also often has free games you can redeem, so having an account there just to take advantage of that isn’t a bad idea either.
