The Bravely series has been popular for the Nintendo 3DS and it soon caught onto the mobile platform as Square Enix released Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect for both iOS and Android in Japan back in March 2018. Square Enix had also released another one back in January 2015 called Bravely Archive: D’s Report, and has now released the English version of the game. However, the game was released for Japan in January 2015 and ended its services in October 2017. Strangely enough, the game is only coming to global…now.
Bravely Archive: D’s Report Gameplay Trailer (January 2015):
Set a hundred years after the events in Bravely Default on a parallel universe, we will follow Daria Milchstrasse who’s a librarian responsible to gather memories from sealed crystals and return their knowledge to The Library. Followed by many other characters, there will be new and even familiar faces from early Bravely series during the journey.
With a classic turn-based strategic battle system, it also uses flick controls either to the left, right, up or down. By flicking up, it induces an uppercut attack that will lift enemies into the air which allows for a slam attack when swiping down to induce more damage. The higher the enemy is flicked into the air, the more damage dealt when they are slammed into the ground. With also the power of crystals the effects of your attacks or heals vary. There’s also a Limit Break which will allow the character to unleash their unique and power skill.
For now, we’re unsure where the game is available yet. But if you are interested, you can try to download it on your phone. You can also check out their official site for more info.
