Engawa Danshi to Kemonotan announced for smartphones

Japan-based developer Ganbarion has just announced Engawa Danshi to Kemonotan, its latest ADV game for the Android and iOS platforms. This free-to-play title will launch for smartphones on 27 May 2021, with a Nintendo Switch release slated for sometime in 2021.

In this adventure game, players will assume the role of protagonist Yotaro, who must, with his companion kemono Tora, seek the means to heal a mysterious disease. While living out a simple life of growing vegetables in the land of Sakamoto, Yotaro and Tora encounter curious incidents that involve all sorts of kemono. Together you must investigate the cause behind these happenings and also help Yotaro grow vegetables to prepare meals for Tora. When night falls, Yotaro and Tora will go on expeditions to seek out other kemono, that must be defeated. Each successful encounter will bring you closer to solving the mystery behind the cause of the disease.

All that work will inevitably get tiring, and so you will be able to wind down with Yotaro and engage in conversations with him by the porch. In addition to learning more about our protagonist, you will also deepen your bond with him and learn more about the surrounding world as a whole.
