Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights has left early access and officially launched on Steam, letting you enjoy its dark fantasy Metroidvania gameplay.
The game has launched for both PC and Nintendo Switch, with the PC version costing RM45 on Steam.
Early Access supporters of the game will get the 1.0 release of Ender Lilies at no cost, and their save progress will carry over. However, the developers recommend starting over, since they’ve redone the early portions of the game alongside an improved tutorial.
Ender Lilies has you playing as the descendent of a priestess, freeing cursed immortals from the blight of a ruined world. Rather than attack for yourself, you’ll be able to summon the spirits of knights to attack for you.
You’ll face down these Immortals in difficult bossfights, forcing you to take them on with your skill and understanding of how each of your knights attacks.
The game definitely draws some comparisons to the Souls Series, especially with the prevalence of Souls-infused Metroidvanias with titles like Death’s Gambit and Blasphemous also making their mark in the recent years.
The game also features music by Mili, who have worked on anime such as Ghost in the Shell as well as Goblin Slayer.
