The upcoming videogame adaptation for the anime Emiya-Sanchi no Kyo No Gohan (Today’s Menu For The Emiya Family, also called Emiya Gohan ) has been delayed. Aniplex announced the delay for Everyday, Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family.
No new release date has been given for the game, with Aniplex saying to stand by for a new release window. The Emiya Gohan game was originally slated for a 2020 release window.
“The Nintendo Switch exclusive software “Everyday ♪ Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family”, which was scheduled to be released in 2020, has been enthusiastically developed for release, but in order to further improve the quality of the entire game”. the statement reads.
The game is based off of Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family, a cooking manga spinoff of the widely popular Fate/Stay Night series. The anime itself is based off a manga of a same title, which puts the historical melodrama of the Fate series aside as protagonist Shirou Emiya cooks a variety of meals for the game’s cast of characters every episode.
In that same spirit the game features a bunch of cooking minigames, cooking a variety of dishes. It features characters from the series such as Saber, Rin Tohsaka and Sakura Matou, all voiced by their anime counterparts on top of the titular Shirou Emiya.
