Elder Scrolls: Blades was a project announced by Bethesda at E3 as being an Elder Scrolls title for the mobile. Having opened up pre-orders on the App Store, the game was due for a launch on 1 September 2018, but alas, there has been a change in plans.
With the date gone by, Bethesda had initially changed the date to 7 September 2018. Given that we are reporting on this means that that date was not fulfilled either. We now have a new date of 1 December 2018, and hopefully third time’s the charm.
While delays more often than not is something to be upset over, it does have the benefit of allowing the developer more time to polish their release. Given the significance of the franchise, Bethesda will definitely want the mobile Elder Scrolls experience to be as perfect as possible. All that is left for them to do is perhaps release another teaser trailer or two to show that everything is fine and dandy while building hype at the same time.
