Elden Ring Sold Over 25 Million Units Ahead of Shadow of the Erdtree DLC’s Launch 

Total sales for Elden Ring have surpassed over 25 million units ahead of its expansion DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, set to launch on June 21, 2024.

In a post shared on X, developer FromSoftware announced the 25 million units sold milestone of Elden Ring alongside a thank you to the fans.

This news comes just a week before the Shadow of the Erdtree launches, which would likely be another sales boost for the game.

Previously, the game crossed 23 million units sold in March 2024 alongside the highly anticipated gameplay reveal trailer for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. In other words, the game had sold another 2 million in less than 3 months.

Elden Ring has already sold more than 20 million units worldwide back in February 2023, a year after its launch.

The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is set to add a slew of new content to the beloved Souls-like, including a large new map, story, bosses, weapon types, and more.
