Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the registration opening for the ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN Closed Network Test, scheduled to run from February 14 to 16, 2025. The test will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms, offering players their first opportunity to experience this innovative multiplayer co-op adventure set in the ELDEN RING universe.
First unveiled at The Game Awards 2024, ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN represents a bold new direction for FromSoftware, introducing session-based cooperative gameplay where three players team up as Nightfarers to face escalating challenges in the mysterious realm of Limveld.
The network test will feature five distinct testing sessions spread across three days:
- February 14: 3:00-6:00 a.m. PT and 7:00-10:00 p.m. PT
- February 15: 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. PT
- February 16: 3:00-6:00 a.m. PT and 7:00-10:00 p.m. PT
Participants will explore an ever-changing environment where the Night’s Tide progressively shrinks the playable area. Players can choose from eight unique characters, each equipped with distinct abilities and Ultimate moves. The test will showcase the game’s three day-and-night cycle system, culminating in encounters with formidable bosses and the dreaded Nightlord.
Set in a parallel universe to the original ELDEN RING, the game begins at the Roundtable Hold. Players can discover Sites of Grace for character progression and collect relics to customize their builds. Each session promises a unique experience, as the game features procedurally generated elements affecting enemy placement, rewards, and the layout of Limveld itself.
Interested players can register for the ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN closed network test at their official website. The full game is scheduled for release in 2025 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
