Elden Ring leaks are starting to appear online, with many off-screen recordings of a purported new trailer. Naturally, this has only incited a frenzy among the community eager for any new information regarding From Software’s next outing.
It started yesterday with a cryptic tweet from Jason Schreier, a prominent games industry journalist. He tweeted that fans could expect some Elden Ring news soon, but didn’t say much else that wasn’t joking about the game’s near-mythical status.
“I know lots of people are desperate for Elden Ring news. I don’t know much about it (except that it’s been delayed a bunch). But there is strong evidence floating around that the game will be shown relatively soon. It’s not going to pull a Winds of Winter. Elden Ring has pages”, his tweet reads.
Hours later, news broke regarding leaks of a future trailer, with many off-camera recordings and screenshots of the upcoming game. These weren’t particularly high quality, and never exceeded more than a few seconds of footage at a time. Schreier later mentioned that being “tangible evidence we’ll see [Elden Ring] soon”
One YouTube channel, The Lore Hunter has compiled the various snippets, even upscaling “potato quality” ones and making them available for the public to see. It’s unknown where these Elden Ring leaks came form, since they’re all watermarked as confidential and for internal use.
Bandai Namco Entertainment hasn’t commented on the leaks, nor have they commented on our previously reported leaks about the boss art in the game.
Elden Ring fans have been eagerly awaiting any kind of news about the upcoming game, which has since won multiple “Most Anticipated Game” awards. Nothing new has been shown of the game since its reveal in 2019.
