Elden Ring Has Sold 20 Million Units Worldwide

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and FromSoftware Inc have just announced that Elden Ring has sold more than 20 Million Units Worldwide.

For those who were living under a rock for the past year, Elden Ring is an action RPG set in the lands between. Players get to explore a vast open world featuring breathtaking sights and various situations; filled with complex and detailed dungeons in their journey of becoming the Elden Lord.

This titled has amassed fans since its release back in 25th February 2022, and has now shipped more than 20 million units worldwide to date. Elden Ring has also received various awards, including “Game of the Year”, among other awards such as “Best Role Playing Game” and “Best Narrative” during The Game Awards 2022.

It’s also worth nothing that Elden Ring is the best selling FromSoftware’s Soulsborne series. This put Elden Ring as the all-time highest selling game in the Soulsborne series. The Souls series has always been a niche genre, with how new player unfriendly the series had been infamously known for.
