Bandai Namco has announced a competition that will make 100 Elden Ring fans official Elden Lords or Ladies, and receive a “souvenir plot of land” at the Highland Titles Nature Reserve in Glencoe Scotland.
The competition begins on February 25th and runs until March 11th. It is only open to entrants that are based in UK and Ireland and entrants must be over the age of 16.
To enter simply email [email protected] and give a reason why you, or any other person you wish to nominate, should be given the title of lord or lady. Perhaps your time battling on the harsh fields of Elden Ring would give you a great advantage in surviving the harsh lands of Scotland.
This competition is being held in collaboration with Highland Titles, a company that allows people to buy a small plot of land at the Highland Nature Reserve in Scotland. These plots range from 1 square foot to 100 square feet depending on the price which in turn will give the owner a certificate declaring them a lord or lady. Over 250,000 people have become Lords and Ladies of Glencoe via Highland Titles
The title is not exactly the same as hereditarily inherited titles however Highland Titles claims it can be used on legal documents or just for lighthearted fun. The buying of the land also helps conserve and support the nature reserve.
Owners of the land can visit the plot, put their name on it and essentially “do what you please with the land within the normal confines of the law”.
Elden Ring is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The fantasy RPG from the creators of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is made in collaboration with Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin.
