Various members of its cast like Ejen Ali himself, along with Rudy, Alicia, Mika, Roza and Khai, will be making their appearance in this game co-developed by Media Prima Digital and Common Extract. Ejen Ali: Agents’ Arena differs from most MOBAs where instead of the typical 5 on 5, this game is a 3 on 3. Each trio will be battling it out in 3 lanes to take down the towers and of course, the enemy base. At present, only 6 characters were announced, each with their own abilities and positions.
The game is expected for an early May 2020 release, for both iOS and Android platforms. The pre-registration link remains open, though you won’t necessarily be getting in to the Agents’ Arena closed beta right now. For those who have received access, players can download the app through the link given on their Facebook. This would certainly be more exciting for Malaysian readers, to see a homegrown property expand into other media!
For those unfamiliar to Ejen Ali, the basic premise involves the titular boy accidentally becoming a MATA agent after using the Infinity Retinal Intelligent System (I.R.I.S), a device prototype created by Meta Advance Tactical Agency (M.A.T.A). He then gets involved in the M.A.T.A missions with his uncle, Bakar. The animation is produced by WAU Animation.
