eFootball 2024, KONAMI‘s football title has announced a collaboration with the popular anime series Blue Lock coming in the next update.
The collaboration was announced in Ver 3.4.0 Trailer for eFootball, marking the first time the game has collaborated with an anime series.
The eFootball 2024 x Blue Lock collaboration will come with a series of different in-game items, log-in presents, challenges, and more.
Below is the list of content that will be included in this update:
Blue Lock Special Edition Cards
During the campaign period, players can add a range of different Blue Lock special edition cards to their Dream Team squads, which include both Takefusa Kubo and Filippo Inzaghi as special log-in presents.
Limited Edition Strips
Two limited edition strips, “Blue Lock Team Red” and “Blue Lock Team White”, will be included in both the “Blue Lock Pack: Yoichi Isagi” and the “Tour Event: Blue Lock 2nd Selection”.
In Game Avatars
Avatars of the different characters in Blue Lock will be available for players during the collaboration campaign as well.
Campaign Achievements
And finally, players will also be able to earn loot through the Campaign Achievements available, which include 90,000 Exp, 60,000 GP, 50 eFootball Coines, and more!
The eFootball 2024 x Blue Lock collaboration is set to begin from 21st March 2024, until 11th April 2024.
Aside from collaboration details, the update also brings new features and improvements to the game.
Position Training and Improved Defensive Conviction
Position Training will allow players to utilize exclusive items to train the positional aptitudes of their players, up to two positional aptitudes can be upgraded per player.
Improved defensive conviction is also added into the game, which enhances defenders’ abilities to accurately retrieve the ball, as well as strengthening individual heading capabilities.
eFootball Championship: Arsenal FC
Last but not least, with the World Finals in Tokyo fast approaching, Arsenal FC, the London giants is announced to be the next club to launch their eFootball Championship Club Event.
Players can compete for the chance to represent Arsenal FC in the eFootball Championship via the online qualifiers that will launch on 25th March 2024.
Three special edition Big Time cards, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz, will be featured in-game.
eFootball 2024 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam as well as on iOS and Android devices.
