Konami Digital Entertainment Limited just announced the release eFootball 2023 which will be available for both console and mobile along with the introduction of new features, new licenses, and two new Player Ambassadors in Bruno Fernandes and Trent Alexander Arnold being added into the game.
eFootball 2023 will be available across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
New Partnerships
In an exclusive license agreement, Liga BBVA MX will be implemented in eFootball 2023, bringing all 18 Mexican clubs, stunning replications of its players, and the addition of the historic Estadio Azteca. eFootball 2023 will see the return of two former partners in AC Milan as well as FC Internazionale Milano, the current holders of Italy’s top domestic league competition and cup competition respectively.
This will see the introduction to the clubs’ full squads, kits, and the iconic stadium that they share: the San Siro. However, it is not just clubs that KONAMI has added. The English international right-back Trent Alexander Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes to join the roster.
AFC Champions League 2022
eFootball 2023 is also welcoming the AFC Champions League 2022 season, with full squads and kits of the participated clubs updated. However, ACL themed events would also be held in-game later.
Fresh Card Types
eFootball 2023 will be introducing two new card types in the form of “Highlight” and “Epic” tiers for the game’s flagship “Dream Team” game mode.
Epic cards will centre around players throughout football history, celebrating defining seasons of brilliance from them while Highlight cards will focus on the current season as it unfolds, picking up current players who are setting world football alight in the 2022/23 season.
The Latest Club Packs
With the additions of Italian giants AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, as well as Mexican side Club America, the game will include Club Packs for all three clubs, allowing users to add an entire squad to their Dream Team roster at one time.
Trial Match Clubs
Previously in the eFootball series, users have the ability to select one of nine partner clubs when playing
offline in ‘Trial Matches’. eFootball 2023 will see this extended to 26 with additions to selection including: AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma, S.S.C. Napoli, Club America, and many more.
