Indie developer Midgar Studio with publisher Dear Villagers will be releasing the console version of Edge of Eternity in February 2022. The game, having launched on PC, will be coming soon to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S on 10 February 2022. Nintendo Switch will receive the game as a cloud version come 23 February 2022.
In a world torn asunder, the people of Heryon pursue a desperate war against a mysterious invader. As this conflict opposing magic and technology grows to cataclysmic proportions, a new threat emerges from the battlefield. Wage epic turn-based battles as you follow Daryon and Selene in their quest to find a cure to the all-consuming Corrosion and save the world of Heryon.
A Kickstarter success thanks to the contribution of over 4000 fans, the campaign went so well that Midgar Studio could get Chrono Trigger‘s composer, Yasunori Mitsuda on board with the project.
“Bringing this JRPG world to life has been a tremendous labour of love. I look forward to delivering this experience to the console players who have been so patient with our team. I think it’ll be worth the wait!”
