Dynamo joins Mega Man X DiVE with the 10 November maintenance, which also comes with the usual array of updates to the game. 11 November also marks the availability of the game’s Steam release in New Zealand, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The Steam rollout is planned for more regions in the future.
Total Power Battle is a new mode that allows players to challenge “Lighting Battles”, “Suppression Battles” and “Expedition Battles”. Lightning Battles tests your speed, earning you more points the less time you take to complete a stage. Suppression Battles sees you stay in one spot and survive as long as you can against an influx of enemies coming from all directions. Expedition Battle is a one on one fight with a boss. On completing the battles, you will get activity points. Challenge them as many times as you want to get as high a score as possible! Your high score will automatically be replaced with a new record, with your total points based on the highest score you get in each round. You can use the same character multiple times to try score points, but you can submit their points for only One of the modes.
Meanwhile, Dynamo has been added to the playable roster of Mega Man X DiVE. Having debuted as a villain in Mega Man X5, here, he’s not affected by the Sigma virus. Instead, he’s more of a mercenary, only getting serious if there’s money on the line. Still, he’s got the skills to back him up, with his hand cannon and lightsaber in tow. With his passive skills, he can even get additional attacks and damage reduction. Not bad for a lazy guy, huh?
