Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation to be launched on 22 January 2018

Sega has just announced that its upcoming mobile RPG Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation will finally be out this coming 22 January 2018.  The game was delayed for a bit and according to the developer, additional time was required in order to increase its quality, with adjustments to be made accordingly based on feedback obtained during the beta test.

To recap, as the protagonist, whose gender can be selected, you have the ability to summon demons using your smartphone via the ‘Devil Downloader’ (Dx) app. As a member of the “Liberators,” a secret organization tasked with protecting the world, you are embroiled in a conflict between Dx2 users. Will the game be able to live up the hype and stand on its own as a game worthy of its pedigree? Only time will tell, but from what we have seen so far, Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation will make its transition to the mobile a smooth one.
