Unfortunately, Sega has just announced that its upcoming mobile RPG Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation will be delayed from its previously planned 2017 release window in Japan to sometime in the middle of January 2018.
According to the developer, additional time is required in order to increase the quality of the game, with adjustments to be made accordingly based on feedback obtained during the beta test.
To recap, as the protagonist, whose gender can be selected, you have the ability to summon demons using your smartphone via the ‘Devil Downloader’ (Dx) app. As a member of the “Liberators,” a secret organization tasked with protecting the world, you are embroiled in a conflict between Dx2 users.
In case you missed it, be sure to check out the trailer which we wrote upon in the article here, as that it is all we are getting from the game for some time.
