Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation, the mobile game by Sega, debuted in Japan last January. Based on the Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei franchise, the game was then released globally in the following months. Sega has announced that the game will be having a collaboration with Bayonetta. However, further details on the collaboration were not announced.
From the makers of the Persona series, Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation is the latest addition to the Megami Tensei franchise. It takes the JRPG genre to new heights with its dark themes, exciting battles and mysterious storylines. After choosing your protagonist’s gender, you have the ability to summon and command demons via the ‘Devil Downloader’ (Dx) app on your smartphone. As a Devil Downloader (Dx2) of the “Liberators”, battle it out with other Dx2s known as the Acolytes.
It is good news that Sega is still doing something with its Bayonetta brand. With Bayonetta 3 in development for Switch as of now, it will be interesting to see how Bayonetta fares in the world of Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation.
Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation is now available worldwide on both Android and iOS devices. You can visit the official English website here for more information. Do visit the official Facebook Page here as well for more future updates.
