Developer NEOPLE and publisher Nexon have announced Dungeon&Fighter OVERKILL, a 3D side-scrolling action RPG to be released for PC. As the name suggests, it’s part of the Dungeon&Fighter franchise. At present, you can check out the Dungeon&Fighter OVERKILL teaser website here, with more information such as regional availability or release date to be revealed at a later date. The brief premise for the game is where it will offer an “alternative perspective” on the series. The game will be made with Unreal Engine 4.
The teaser website offers a teaser clip and a variety of screenshots and GIFs you can peruse. At the bottom of the page, it also has a recruitment drive, with positions available for both newbies and more senior staff across divisions including planners, programmers, artists and animators. With that in mind, the game probably won’t be out for a while yet.
That’s not even forgetting Dungeon&Fighter DUEL announced in December last year that will also see ARC SYSTEM WORKS on board. Information is light on that title too, so fans will have to continue the waiting game. While OVERKILL has been announced for PC in specific, there’s presumably nothing stopping them from launching it on consoles. Stay tuned.
