Dungeon&Fighter Mobile will be opening pre-registrations in Korea come 25 November 2021, to be managed under Nexon. The title is supposedly retaining the original feel of the game, but on mobile.
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile will have PVE battles that involve dungeon crawling and battling monsters, while PVP seems to be catered to a more manual gameplay experience. The controls are said to be optimized for touch screens, with customizable options depending on your own comfort and preferred control scheme. It seems that it will be using a 2D art style.
The story will have the basic foundation of the original games with returning characters and factions, as well as original characters for a new spin. This is to provide a nostalgic experience for older fans, while still being fresh and fun.
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile is planned for a domestic Korean release in the first quarter of 2022. The game’s official website looks to be region locked to people outside of Korea, giving an error message “Our apologies. Your country is not currently included in this.” You may try to access it here.
Outside of this, there are other Dungeon&Fighter titles in the works, like DUEL and OVERKILL, so something more to look forward to.
