Dungeon Of The Endless, the roguelike “Dungeon defense” game is free on Steam right now, just in time to get you prepared for its sequel this October.
As part of developer Amplitude Studios’ Endless Summer offer, you can claim Dungeon of the Endless for free until July 27th via Steam, where it’ll be free-to-own.
Dungeon of The Endless is a pixel-art roguelike, where you’ll have to play a crew of characters fighting off a variety of horrors on the planet Auriga, all in the name of defending their ship’s generator.
You’ll be able to do things like assemble turrets as well as divert power to different rooms, giving the normally exploratory roguelike genre a more defensive twist as you run from the hordes of enemies.
On top of that you’ll also need to balance resources like Science, Food and Industry to better ensure the survival of your crew.
The game sports both single player as well as up to four player online co op, with various random events and enemies every time you open another door.
Other offers during the Endless Summer event include the Endless Universe bundle, which contains multiple Endless games for 75% off at RM138.55
The game’s sequel, Endless Dungeon, drops October 19th, and is also available for pre-purchase on Steam.
For players who might not have been a fan of the pixel art aesthetic or just thirsting for something new, they’ll want to keep their eyes on Endless Dungeon- it sports a bold new art style, as well as a greater focus on combat for more moment-to-moment enjoyment
This includes new characters, such as the recently revealed hero Comrade who improves on Turret placement with their abilities.
